Zazzle Store…Gimme the loot!
I’ve been getting a lot of requests for shirts using some of my designs so I’ve set up a Zazzle Store where I’ll make some stuff available for purchase. Its cost prohibitive for me to go and get stuff silk-screened since I don’t foresee there being any demand for any of the nonsense I crank out. I make about $2 per shirt and I promise any money I make will go towards beer or ammo. Anyway, you can visit the store or click the images to get to the product page for either of the two designs shown here. Thanks. Stay tuned for more!
No commentsSavannah Club Players…Logo Cake!?

Check it out! Here’s the logo I made for the Savannah Club. Nice to see they’re putting it to good use. Love those old school rock pins! Yes…that’s a cake! Probably the only time any of my designs will appear on anything edible.

EPSON 7900…its HUGE!

Our new printer arrived today…on a palette. The wareouse staff had to use a forklift to unload it and it came on its own truck! Jinkies! Megan was kind enough to stand next to the pronter…for scale! This whopper will print on anything…even canvas! Its made of pure Jumbonium.

DIY KAC Rail Panel Stippling

I’m in the process of stippling my Knight’s Armament rail panels. This is the first one I did as a test using AEnemaBay’s method from AR15.com. Check out the tutorial here for more info. It’s really easy to do and the results are very effective. The panels are much less slippery, and give you a better grip even when wet. AEnemaBay’s method will give you a random texture that is much closer to the pattern on Magpul’s MIAD grip than simply using a soldering iron to poke holes. This method doesn’t deform the rail and takes much less time since you are covering a larger area than when you use the soldering iron technique.

Gypsy Curse?!

I’m posting this self-portrait in honor of my upcoming uvulectomy, tonsillectomy & deviated septum hat-trick of surgeries. I snore like a mother fucker…and have been hospitalized in the past whenever my uvula decides to swell up to the size of a cherry for unknown reasons.
When I went to the ER last time, I couldn’t talk and had written the followign note on my iPhone for the Emergency Room staff:
“Hello there is a problem with my throat. My uvula is extremely swollen. I am unable to swallow. It is causing me to choke & I am having difficulty breathing. It is very uncomfortably. I cannot talk, eat or drink. I also snore a lot. I think it needs to be removed. I believe it may be due to a gypsy curse. This has happened before. It is not strep…Please help me and CUT IT OUT!”
I did that image about a year ago…but I imagine that’s what I’ll probably look like in the weeks after my procedure. One can hope at least. Zombified!

This is what my uvula looked like the last time it went thermo-nuclear. They did not oblige my request to amputate it. All I ended up getting was an IV of fluids and heavy doses of antihistamines & steroids.
My operation is scheduled for Sept. 14th in lieu of flowers please send pills, ice cream & XBOX games.
No commentsCylon Invasion?!

Cylon Invasion?! I’m not even really sure what a Cylon is… but you can be sure Sentry’s resident comic book guy slash graphic designer, Dan P does. Why else would he talk endlessly about them or wear this Battlestar Gaylactica shit? He keeps telling us how great the show is…so when he came in to work wearing this shirt given to him by his “girlfriend” I knew this Photoshop had to be done. Isn’t that show like 10 years old now? I don’t really watch a lot of TV. Anyway, Dan P’s working on his own blog over here. Seriously, he’s a good guy!
Lately, I’ve just been cranking out a shit ton of prototype packaging and working on the Sentry website. So there hasn’t been much to post.
Yawn! Bored like me? Then, check this out… Set me on fire…KEROSENE! I’m out!

I made this graphic for my mom’s community theater troop’s upcoming production. It’s musical about a fictitious high school reunion so she wanted a school crest that they could put on the front of a shirt. She’s in Florida.
No commentsDigital King Lenses

Digital King macro, wide-angle & fisheye lenses for my VQ1005! They stick on using a magnet & are easy to change. I haven’t taken any photos yet…so there’s nothing to post, but I’ll get something on Flickr soon. For more info on the lenses click here or watch this video! They’ll work with any cell phone, toy, keychain or other inexpensive camera. As far as I know they are only available in Asia.
